Delve into a lost world of a telephone answering service and operator Ella, who has devised a novel way to keep herself amused whilst she manages the voice mail of strangers, developing wacky characters and voices. Curious about her customers, she soon finds herself falling for one, even though she's never seen his face.
Written by Betty Camden, Adolph Green and with music from Jules Styne, this breezy 1956 musical includes handsome playwrights, gambling gangsters and some fabulous standards such as 'The Party's Over' and 'Just In Time'.
