As they journey uptown and downtown amid the grime, the graffiti and the garbage of 1979, every choice they make is fateful in world where fortunes can be made or broken with every turn of the disco ball.

Opened in 1977, Studio 54 was the place to seen in New York. Boasting a clientele that included Andy Warhol, Bianca Jagger, Grace Jones and many more shining lights of the alternative scene it was as much a palce to express yourself as a place to dance. Full of glamour, drugs, love and drama (and a legendary four inches of glitter on the dance floor) it has come to represent the heyday of the disco scene, and remains an iconic piece of pop culture to this day.
