Why see The Grief Eater Near North Bender?
A Creature Stalks The Woods...
Critically acclaimed up-and-coming playwright Dylan Guerra brings this darkly comic new fable to New York, premiering at the Laura Pels Theater in Winter 2027. Telling the tale of a bereaved group hunting down a mythical creature that consumes memories of people's loved ones, The Grief Eater Near North Bender is a haunting and sharply funny look at loss and outrunning the past.
What Is The Story?
In the depths of the forest by North Bender, a monstrous creature stalks the undergrowth. It feasts upon people's loved ones, but even worse, destroys any memory of them in the process. Now a ragtag group of bereaved survivors will join together to stop the beast from consuming any more. A man missing a lover he can't remember, and a devoted brother and sister, set out into the dark to take revenge - and reclaim the pain that is rightfully theirs.
