Bad Jews

Bad Jews at Laura Pels Theater

Why see Bad Jews?

Bad Jews is a new comedy written by Joshua Harmon and directed by Daniel Aukin. It returns to Broadway after a short-but-much-acclaimed run in 2012 to be performed at a larger venue - with its original cast preserving the same chemistry of its premier run.

Set in a cramped New York City apartment, the play tells the tale of a feud amongst a Jewish family which erupts when their Grandfather passes away, leaving a precious Holocaust-era heirloom. Tracee Chimo returns to play Daphna, a role which the New York Times described as "marvelous, startling and savagely funny" and which gives the play many of its sharp wit and cringe-worthy (but still highly humorous) moments.
