Stars Align In New Broadway Run Of Other Desert Cities

Golden Globe winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus heads up an all-star cast for a new revival of Jon Robin Baitz's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, opening at the Hudson Theater in October 2026. Telling the searing tale of a family reunion that is torn apart by a terrible revelation, Other Desert Cities is also set to star Ed Harris, Allison Janney, and Joe Keery.

What Is The Story?

It's Christmas Eve, and one family is having a long-awaited reunion: writer Brooke is seeing her parents again after six years, along with her recently sober aunt. The pleasantries don't last long as Brooke reveals her next project - a memoir focusing on the death of her brother. In spite of her parents' anger, Brooke is determined to go through with it. What then spills out is a long-withheld secret that threatens to tear the family apart for good. The truth is never as simple as it seems.
