Gloria premiered Off-Broadway in May 2015 and was described as "bitingly funny" and a play that is "never quite what you think it is" by the Los Angeles Times, and as a "merciless modern satire" by The Guardian.
Upon its debut, the play was nominated for two Lucille Lortel Awards, a Drama League Award, a Drama Desk Award, and two Outer Critics Circle Awards. It was also a finalist for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Now, two-time Tony winner Branden Jacobs-Jenkins brings his acclaimed story to Broadway!
What's The Story?
Set in a cut-throat Manhattan editorial office, Gloria tells the tale of a group of relentless and ruthless young workers, all interested in advancing their careers... but at what cost? The play highlights digital workplace dynamics and how they affect working American lives.
