Porno for Pyros came together after psychedelic rock band Jane's Addiction broke up in 1992. Singer Perry Farrel and drummer Stephen Perkins found bassist Martyn LeNoble and guitarist Peter DiStefano and the band was formed. Their self-titled first album gained gold status, and they subsequently played the infamous Woodstock 94.
