Electric Light Orchestra Stars!
The 1970s behemoth of sunny, classically fused synth-pop, the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), brought the world a glorious and much loved twist on rock music. From the early strains of megahit 'Mr. Blue Sky', it's impossible not to become totally immersed in their cheerful sphere of Beatlesque lyrics and joyful instrumentations, capable of tackling dark themes with total euphoria! Comprising former members of both ELO and ELO Part II - the band founded by ELO drummer Bev Bevan following the original band's split - don't miss their spiritual successors The Orchestra playing the hits from ELO's extensive catalog, along with hidden gems!
Formed in 1970 in Birmingham, England, by Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan and Roy Wood, The Electric Light Orchestra went through many line up adjustments, splits and changes throughout their career. With The Orchestra's line up currently including former ELO member Mik Kaminski, ELO Part II members Eric Troyer and Parthenon Huxley, and former Styx member and Broadway's Beatlemania star Glen Burtnik, you're assured a great show in the company of those who know ELO's music best!
