Get ready for a swinging holiday outing as Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox returns to the road this festive season on the Magic, Moonlight and Mistletoe tour, turning their talents to the classic carols and holiday tunes of yesteryear. Keep an ear out for cheerful hits from the band's 2014 Christmas album, including stylish updates of 'O, Holy Night', 'My Favorite Things' and 'Joy To The World'.
Postmodern Jukebox's forte is taking a track too easily dismissed by some more 'highbrow' music lovers as disposable music for tweens and giving it a classy, big band twist. Scott Bradlee himself is a self-confessed former pop skeptic, but once users started requesting covers from him of the latest chart hits, he began to see their innate artistic merit. He hopes that by isolating these songs from any genre or cultural baggage, Postmodern Jukebox will do the same for others.

The performers were all excellent, and all of them got into the act. The musicians were sometimes doing comedy bits upstage while the singers were performing, which enhanced, did not distract, from the performance. Pop music turned on its side- and kicked a little.
Great great great rendition of Nothing Else Matters- she was an awesome singer! She received a standing ovation at the Borgata! I wish I could find her single or even her name. She was talented. Douglas Jr the MC sounded like a recording he was so spot on. Definitely check out the show if you want something that screams Vintage Atlantic City! And dress up- it’s fun! ... Read more
