Hal Prince is as Broadway as it gets. A true legend of musical theater, he's the man behind some of the greatest Broadway shows of all time, and holds the record for the most Tony wins - 21! - of any individual. Over the course of his storied career, he's produced and or directed the original productions of The Pajama Game, Cabaret, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, Follies, Sweeney Todd, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
Prince of Broadway is a glorious journey through Hal's work, presenting show-stopping number after show-stopping number. Co-directed by Tony winner Susan Stroman, Prince of Broadway has wiped the slate clean with regards these songs original staging, presenting them with all new choreography and set design. It's an excitingly vibrant retrospective of one of American culture's true giants! Among the cast are Tony winners Chuck Cooper (The Life), Tony Yazbeck (On the Town) and Karen Ziemba (Contact).
