Composed entirely of women, the company was founded in 1914 as a tourist attraction for the town of Takaruzka, but has since blossomed into a veritable cultural phenomenon. Written by John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, Chicago is the down and dirty story Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, both on trial for murder, who become infamous celebrities in prohibition-era America. It contains the musical theatre standards 'All that Jazz' and 'Razzle Dazzle'.
