The New York City Ballet's Classic series of the 2022/23 season includes two dynamic and mesmerizing works from founding choreographer George Balanchine, including the brilliant display of classical technique Allegro Brilliante. Former Resident Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon's Liturgy cements his historic tenure with the company, while Firebird - A Balanchine and Robbins collaboration sets a dreamlike tone for the climax, complete with Marc Chagall's memorable scenery.
