Thornton Wilder's Final Play Comes To Life Off Broadway This April

Pulitzer Prize winner and titan of American culture, Thornton Wilder's final masterpiece comes Off Broadway, opening at the Lynn F Angelson Theater this April! Focusing on a young man discovering himself and the meaning of his life in a journey through the city, The Emporium is finally brought to life through a brilliant completion by Kirk Lynn and Classic Stage Company.

What Is The Story?

John has never had much to his name. Growing up as an orphan, he's struggled to get the little he has. So when he abandons his life to find something new in the big city, the possibilities seem magical. But the one thing that really captures him is the Emporium - a mystical department store that supposedly contains whatever you could possibly want. There's one problem with the Emporium: finding a way in seems to be impossible. John will soon discover that getting the things you desire is not always an option.
