Labelled as one of operas most striking and talented stars, Elina Garanca comes to New York City for a night of show stopping music and performance. The multi award winning
mezzo soprano has traveled all over the world ever since beginning her singing career in 1996.
Garanca has performed in some of the best venues that the world has to offer including Vienna State Opera, The Royal Opera House in London, Bavarian State Opera and The Metropolitan Opera in New York. She has also received two Latvian Great Music Awards and the 2010 Musical America Award for Vocalist of the Year. Garanca is the youngest female singer have ever received an honorary Kammersängerin Award.
The opera singer has had six successful solo albums and dazzled audiences when performing the iconic role of Carmen in Georges Bizets 2010 version of the opera.
