Zebra turns 40!

Hard rockers Zebra rode the early heavy metal wave of the late 70's with soaring, cloud-piercing falsetto vocals from frontman and guitarist Randy Jackson and hook-laden licks and harmonies from bassist Felix Hanemann and drummer Guy Gelso. The band rose to prominence in the wake of bands like Led Zeppelin and Rush and while they never achieved the same level of superstardom they remain cult heroes in their native areas of Louisiana and Long Island.

The power trio aren't afraid to tap into their classic metal roots live with much shredding and banshee-like howls whipping their loyal fans into a frenzy. Each show recalls the energy of their early years and takes the audience back to a time where guitar gods ruled the musical landscape. Zebra will be supported by fellow long islanders The Mystic, a cover band with a whopping five lead vocalists.
