Two names from the golden age of rock 'n' roll and pop come together at NYCB Theatre for one night only.

Jay 'The Voice' Black came to prominence in the 1960s, as lead singer of Jay and the Americans. The fivesome scored several big hits with their sweeping romantic sound, including Come a Little Closer, She Cried and Casa Mia. Jay continued as a successful solo artists after the group slit in 1973. Chubby Checker caused a nationwide sensation in 1960 when he appeared on American Bandstand with his rendition of Hank Ballard's The Twist. His later hits included Let's Twist Again and Pony Time.
