Famed Beatboxer Doug E. Fresh Joins Friends for A Lively Night of Classic Hip Hop

Presented at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, rapper Doug E. Fresh joins other legendary Hip Hop musicians in an exciting showcase of lively music. The Heart of Hip Hop Classic Edition celebrates the best of the genre with performances from Roxanne Shante, Onyx, Slick Rick, Rakim and many more.

Best known for pioneering the art of beatboxing, Doug E. Fresh has been fascinating audiences since the 1980s through his ability to use his mouth to master music. The artist first rose to fame when himself and fellow musicians Barry Bee, Chill Will and Slick Rick became the Get Fresh Crew and released hits including 'The Show' and 'La Di Da Di.'

The success he experienced in one of Hip Hops most prominent eras has caused him to become widely known and celebrated as the 'Original Human Beatbox.'
