Why see The Seafarer?
The Seafarer is a chilling new play about the sea, Ireland, and the power of myth. It's Christmas Eve and Sharky has returned to Dublin to look after his irascible, aging brother who's recently gone blind. Old drinking buddies Ivan and Nicky are holed up at the house too, hoping to play some cards. But with the arrival of a stranger from the distant past, the stakes are raised ever higher. In fact, Sharky may be playing for his very soul.
Playwright Conor McPherson (The Weir, Shining City) concocts a ghost story that is funny, chilling and profound. A National Theatre production directed by the author.

Dark, but so very Funny
I loved this show!
It was such a pleasant surprise to me. The acting is unbelievably good and the comedic timing is top notch.
Jim Norton was by far my favorite, but the entire cast was excellent.

The only thing upsetting about this show is the closing date.
May it return soon. Wonderful performances by every single
