First Revival

Tony-winning director Thomas Kail (Hamilton) directs a Broadway revival of David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play Proof, the first time the work has been revived in New York since its original run. A cast made up of fellow award winners and nominees heads up this fresh new production, with Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Ayo Edibiri (The Bear) and Golden Globe and Tony winning Don Cheadle (Crash) to feature.

What Is The Story?

Catherine has cared for her father Robert, a renowned mathematician, through his mental illness for the past five years. His ex-student, Hal, discovers a ground-breaking proof in Robert's office but the question is posed: who is the real author of this brilliant work? Catherine struggles to solve this, and the most perplexing problem of all: how much of her father's madness or genius has she inherited?
