Nominated for eight Tony Awards, winner of Best Play Revival and Best Leading Actress in a Play!
Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' acclaimed comedic drama and play gets its Broadway debut this year, starring Emmy and Tony-winning actor Sarah Paulson. The run comes after a highly successful 2013 off-Broadway production as well as stints in London, Los Angeles and Louisville. Following a dysfunctional family picking up the pieces of their recently-passed father's estate in Arkansas, uncovering the past brings up age-old resentment which they'll have to work through.
Two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Jacobs-Jenkins is one of the country's most talented young writers, garnering huge praise for his works An Octoroon and The Comeuppance. Whilst best known around the world for her appearances in TV and Hollywood movies such as 12 Years A Slave and American Horror Story, Paulson is no stranger to the stage, having appeared in Killer Joe by Tracy Letts and the Broadway run of Donald Margulies' Collected Stories.
