Live From New York!

The Tribeca Film Festival returns for its 14th edition this year, and fittingly, its opening night screening pays tribute to another New York institution - Saturday Night Live.

Live From New York! is an exploration of the television show which has been shaping the cultural conversation for the past 40 years, and has launched the biggest comedy names in the business. Directed by Bao Nguyen, whose Once in a Lullaby premiered at the festival back in 2012, this all-access documentary tells the story of the Lorne Michaels produced show, through archival footage and interviews with the likes of Tina Fey, Alec Baldin, Amy Poehler, Rudi Giuliani and many many more.
