A celebration of Salsa Music!

Join the stars of the Salsa world as they come together for the Pre-Puerto Rican Day Parade Celebration at NYC's Barclays Center. Performers include Venezuelan living legend Oscar D'Leon, "El Pavarotti De La Salsa" Tito Nieves, "La Princess de la Salsa" La India and "El Nino Bonito de la Salsa" (or the Pretty Boy of Salsa) Ismael Miranda.

A direct translation of Salsa means sauce in Spanish and refers to the spice and flair of the popular music phenomenon. A combination of Cuban and Puerto Rican styles, it took New York City by storm in the 1970's thanks to the vibrant immigrant communities who brought it with them. Other artists on the bill include Willie Colon, Tony Vega, Johnny Rivera and special guest Elvis Crespo.
