New Entry In The Rhinebeck Panorama

The latest, newest instalment of Richard Nelson's critically lauded Rhinebeck Panorama circle of plays hits the stage in New York! Each of the twelve works follows one of three families, in the wake of certain real-world events, with 2010's That Hopey Changey Thing set during the 2010 midterms, 2011's Sweet and Sad on the anniversary of 9/11, 2012's Sorry during the 2012 elections, and so on. We'll See rejoins the Apple Family, central characters of those three aforementioned plays, during the 2026 midterm elections, with a cast including award-winning Broadway star Maryann Plunkett (The Notebook), Sally Murphy, Jay O. Sanders, and Laila Robins.

What Is It About?

The Rhinebeck Panorama has followed the Apple Family through many global events since 2010, be it the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination, the Covid-19 pandemic, the anniversary of 9/11, or election night. On the day of the midterm elections in 2026, the family are back together once more, having dinner at Barbara's, reconnecting, and assessing the world and the anxieties it faces, posing to each other the pertinent questions that define who we are in these times.
