A thrilling new drama set on society's edge

Two stars from hit Netflix drama Orange Is The New Black are headed Off-Broadway in early 2017! The two Latina actresses, Dascha Polanco and Selenis Leyva who play Dayanara Diaz and Gloria Mendoza respectively leave Litchfield Penitentiary far behind them for the heat of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico in Paola Lazaro's new drama. Amidst the shadows of the old fort, one can escape the masses of tourists and enter a tough and forgotten world that is truly addictive, mysterious and fraught with tension.

Throwing light on the desperate souls that reside out of view of the tourists, drugs and prostitution take place underneath the cavernous fort; however a strict code of honor between the players ensures a hierarchy and determination for survival. Directed by David Mendizabal, this production by Atlantic Theatre Company features an atmospheric set design by Clint Ramos and costume design by Dede Ayite.
