You & Me

You & Me at A.R.T. New York Theatres

Why see You & Me?

Survival After Tragedy

Chilling, pertinent and likely to resonate deeply with our times, You and Me is the story of what's left following the harrowing ordeal of a school shooting. A new play written and directed by Anthony M. Laura with music by Philip Lauto, this Off-Broadway run stars Brianne Buishas as Chloe, whose twin sister committed a school shooting, and Courtney Keaton as her sister's girlfriend. Reflecting on mature themes, the play deals with conversations around mental illness, suicide and of course, school shootings, so viewer discretion is advised.

What Is The Story?

Chloe is left picking up the pieces after her twin sister Delilah committed a school shooting. Mackenzie, Delilah's girlfriend, was one of the survivors of the attack, and is now left working out how to continue life after the devastating event. Taking place in a diner in New York, when Chloe and Mackenzie meet, a connection they never expected begins to take root, with everything they believed brought into question.
