What Is The Story?

Nelson Castro is a Colombian American running a failing laundromat in Queens. When his son Nick returns home from a stint at a wellness retreat following a vicious hate crime, the mistakes of a long-buried past are suddenly thrust into the light. Nelson must find a way to keep his family and his business intact as he deals with the fallout of his life, and fights for his future. Written by and starring Leguizamo, The Other Americans takes on themes of racism, identity, and the twists of morality.
