Cynthia Erivo To Open 2025 Macy’s Day Parade
Buena Vista Social Club, Just In Time, and Ragtime join a star-studded lineup
It has been announced that Wicked star Cynthia Erivo will open the upcoming 2025 Macy's Day Parade celebrations! It had previously been announced that Buena Vista Social Club, Just In Time and Ragtime will also be performing at this years annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! The 99th annual parade will air on NBC on November 27, starting at 8:30am! Hosting this years celebrations will be Savannah Guthire, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker.
Alongside Cynthia Erivo and these incredible three Broadway shows partaking in the parade, there is a plethora of other amazing performances due to take place. Also set to perform are the Radio City Rockettes, plus Tony nominee Christopher Jackson (currently on Broadway in Hell's Kitchen), Hairspray's Darlene Love, pop star Debbie Gibson, Tiler Peck, Drew Baldridge, Matteo Bocelli, Colbie Caillat, Ciara, Gavin DeGraw, Meg Donnelly, Mr. Fantasy, Foreigner, Mickey Guyton, Jewel, Lil Jon, Kool & the Gang, Roman Mejia, Taylor Momsen, Busta Rhymes, Calum Scott, Shaggy, Lauren Spencer Smith, Lusa Sonza, and Teyana Taylor. All of this will be made possible with the help of over 5000 volunteers.
