What’s the Scoop on Much Ado?
Love is taking over again!
Jamie Lloyd Company's acclaimed revival of Much Ado About Nothing heads to Broadway this autumn, with Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell reprising their acclaimed performances as Benedick and Beatrice.
Following its hugely successful London run, the five-star production will transfer to Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre for a strictly limited 10-week engagement. Previews begin on 31 October 2026 ahead of an official opening night on 19 November, with performances running through to 10 January 2027. Excited?
What Is The Story?
A perennial favourite of Will's oeuvre, Much Ado About Nothing pits the sexes against each other with riotous results. Two couples dance around declaring their love for each other; Benedick and Beatrice, and Hero and Claudio. But when the machinations of a dastardly nobleman threaten their happiness, one of our heroes must fake their own death to get a truly happy ending...
Joining Hiddleston and Atwell on Broadway will be the full original cast, including Mara Huf as Hero, Mika Onyx Johnson as Borachio, Gerald Kyd as Don Pedro, Forbes Masson as Leonato, Phillip Olagoke as Friar Francis, Mason Alexander Park as Margaret, James Phoon as Claudio and Tim Steed as Don John. The Broadway engagement will also mark Park's Broadway debut.
