Death Becomes Her to Close This June
The Broadway run will be laid to rest
The deliciously dark Death Becomes Her will end its run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on June 28, 2026, bringing a close to a production that opened less than two years ago on November 21, 2024 - so this is your final chance to catch it while it's still very much alive on Broadway!
What's The Story?
Based on the 1992 film written by David Koepp and Martin Donovan and directed by Robert Zemeckis, the stage adaptation follows two lifelong rivals who discover a potion granting eternal youth - along with increasingly chaotic consequences that prove immortality comes at a cost. The musical features a book by Marco Pennette, with music and lyrics by Julia Mattison and Noel Carey, and is directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.
Produced by Universal Theatrical Group, the production will continue its afterlife beyond Broadway with a planned U.S. national tour beginning in September 2026 at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio.
