Ain't No Mo' Receives Another Extension At The Public Theater.
Now playing through to May 5.
Jordan E. Cooper's Ain't No Mo' have announced that they will be extending for the second time at the Public Theater. Originally scheduled to close on April 21 the production was extended to April 28 before being extended again to May 5.
Starring Cooper, Ain't No Mo' opened to critical acclaim on March 27 with the New York Times calling it "Thrilling, bewildering, campy, shrewd, mortifying, scary, devastating and deep." The production also stars Marchant Davis, Jennean Farmer, Fedna Jacquet, Crystal Lucas-Perry, Ebony Marshall-Oliver, Simone Recasner and Hermon Whaley Jr.
What is Ain't No Mo' about?
Embarking on a journey of epic proportions, black American's bid to flee from a country ridden with injustice. In a series of episodic scenes, Cooper's satirical new work depicts the lead-up and immediate aftermath of the event.
Ain't No Mo' is now playing at the LuEsther Theatre through to May 5.
