Rainbow Valley TOur!

Matt Corby broke the mold when he finished runner-up on the fifth season of Australian Idol in 2007, leaving behind the false veneer of the competition to find his own voice as an independent singer-songwriter. And what a voice it is. Gifted with a knack for storytelling and a husky, emotive howl of a vocal, this exciting young artist has steadily garnered attention and praise that's flowed out from his native Oz to stages the world over.

Now heading out on his Rainbow Valley Tour in support of his sophomore studio album, Corby forgoes gimmicks and instead focuses his energy on a live show filled with subtlety and raw emotion. Like the troubadours of old, his commanding voice lifts sombre, mellow numbers and crowd-pleasing anthems alike.

Cranston's wrenching performance stands on its own. In context, it's a terrifying reminder of how an all-too-human, anger-filled public figure, with access to a worldwide stage, can be mistaken for a god.

Yes, it really is that good. A show about young rebels grabbing and shaping the future of an unformed country, "Hamilton" is making its own resonant history by changing the language of musicals.
