The Queen's Six

February 14 - 15, 2023

Not to be confused with a certain Six Queens playing across town, The Queen's Six head to The Town Hall for this Valentine's Day special, named for their first album of contemporary songs, From Windsor With Love. Based at the famous Windsor Castle, the beloved home of the late Elizabeth II, they make up part of the Lay Clerks of St George's Chapel and have sung for the Royal Family on numerous occasions, most memorably at the wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle and at Prince Phillip's funeral. While their normal set list is rather austere, they are also known to delve into more upbeat themes such as Renaissance polyphony, lewd madrigals, haunting folk songs, and upbeat jazz and pop arrangements.

Even after over 50 years as a major recording artist, Grammy award-winner Judy Collin's wonderful voice still shines brightly through her stunning back catalog. An important part of the 1960s folk revival, Collins began her career channeling Dylan, Pete Seeger, The Beatles, and many more artists, lending her melodic voice to other's compositions, whilst going on to pen her own tracks to great acclaim. She has always had an eclectic taste, having explored a range of sounds, from Pop, Rock, and Roll to Broadway classics, such as the celebrated 'Send in the Clowns'. An evening in the company of enigmatic Judy Collins promises to inspire and thrill in equal measures.

Hailing from Coral Springs, Florida, punk-pop band New Found Glory were formed in mid-1997 and have been brightening up stadiums and venues ever since with their catchy, anthemic pop-punk tunes. Catch them live on the road in 2023 with their "Make The Most Of It Acoustic Tour", a unique experience where fans will get to hear all the tracks that don't fit into New Found Glory's more 'rowdy' sets.

If it wasn't enough that Hollywood heavyweight proved himself one of the greatest actors of our times in feature films such as Jurassic Park, The Fly, and Independence Day, as well as the master of resulting memes thereafter, the multi-talented maestro has also been tickling the ivories with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra at the Rockwell club in Los Angeles, a weekly residency that came about after he took his love of jazz to the stage in the mid-1990s. Jeff and his orchestra are hitting the road this summer, so don't miss the chance to see the 'Blum bloom on stage.
