Official dates to be confirmed
Cue the pea soup expectorant and backwards spiderwalking; The Exorcist is making its Broadway stage debut in 2018, with dates and a venue yet to be confirmed. Most definitely not for the faint-hearted...
From across the Pond it comes....
The Birmingham Rep production received positive notices for its daring production, which was adapted for the stage by John Pielmeier. Particular praise was given to 12-year old lead actress Clare Louise Connolly, who originated the role of the demonically possessed Regan.
The special effects team have their work cut out ahead of the Broadway transfer, as they will be creating suprtnatural phenomena including moving shadowy projections, slamming doors, demonic murmurs, projectile green vomit, and of course, the 360-degree head twist!

Set to transfer to London's West End in the spring, the story of one priest's desperate attempt to save a young girl from demonic possession is one of popular culture's most infamous, with the 1973 horror movie earning its place amongst the highest-grossing films in history.
