The entire cast is delightful, and has a blast with the funny and prolific Feiffer's outrageous script

A vivid contemporary update on Chekov's existential classic Three Sisters
Renowned Off-Broadway company MCC Theater continues its groundbreaking 2018/19 season with the New York premiere of Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow, local theater maker Halley Feiffer's vivid and contemporary reimagining of Chekov's celebrated familial drama Three Sisters.
Imbuing the seminal work's Russian despair and inspired humour with a thoroughly millennial sensibility, Feiffer's biting black comedy presents the familiar characters of Olga, Maria and Irina as modern twenty somethings yearning to find their place in the world. The original story's themes of love, frustration, existential longing and the ridiculousness of upper class living still ring true today. Fittingly, fashion blogger turned actress/pop culture commentator and feminist Tavi Gevinson plays the role of youngest sister Irina.
