Premiering in San Francisco in 2016, Seared was met with rave reviews thanks to its lightning-fast pace, rapid-fire repartee and insightful humour, which all collide in a poignant portrait of love, frustration and the fine art of food. Four-time Tony nominated stage and screen veteran Tony Esparza stars as hot-headed chef Harry. When Harry wins adoration from an important food magazine for his signature scallop dish, his restaurant partner Mike can finally see dollar signs and a way out from financial straits. But the stubborn Harry refuses to recreate the dish for the average diner and the hot button conversation of art versus commerciality begins...
