Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a structured yet open-ended tabletop role-playing game that has captivated imaginations since its creation in 1974 by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. Players gather around a table, with one person acting as the Dungeon Master (DM) who guides the adventure. Each player controls a character, embarking on quests, battling foes, and exploring a rich fantasy world. It has had a large resurgence in popularity over the past 5 years due to its part in the Stranger Things franchise and the 2023 movie Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves' starring Chris Pine.
