Why See The St. George Theatre Christmas Show?
A Cheer-Filled Holiday Revue
Have yourself a merry little Christmas at this year's St. George Theatre's annual holiday spectacular! Back for its fifteenth year running, the community-wide favorite show brings together a 100-strong cast of local volunteers, returning performers Jenny Kelly, Enid Stein, Bill Newstad and Marcus Simeone, as well as professional host and DJ Vinnie Medugno.
Weaving together fresh new arrangements of Yuletide classics and carols like 'Let It Snow', 'Holy Night' and 'Sleigh Ride', the production centers around a grandmother reading a festive story to her grandchildren, flitting through all the different stories that make Christmas so special. The journey takes them to far-flung realms like the North Pole, the Land of Sweets (during an excerpt of the Nutcracker Ballet as performed by dancers from companies across the island) and even Times Square, before ending with the beloved 'Living Nativity' scene.
