Lewis Capaldi

April 6, 2023

When you close your eyes and first listen to the soulful lament of Lewis Capaldi's baritone vocals, you may be surprised to find that the man behind the voice is a 20-something Glaswegian whose dedicated social media lampooning has earned him the nickname 'The King Of Memes' (if you don't believe it, check out his hilariously insightful Instagram highlights). Catch him as he brings his smash hit songcraft to North America!

Founder member of Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty's unmistakable growl was a staple of American radio during the 60s, on tracks like Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary and the anti-Vietnam war anthem Fortunate Son. Selling millions of records worldwide, the group disbanded in 1970, at which point Fogerty pursued a highly successful solo career, penning hits including Old Man Down the River and Rockin' All Over the World (later made famous by Status Quo).

Since her debut mixtape took the industry by storm in 2012, Kali Uchis has carved a unique and flourishing career, quickly becoming one of the most promising names in the industry. Dubbed as 'genre-defying', Uchis' Drunken Babble instigated her vibe from the offset, mixing reggae, R&B and soul to create atmospheric and anthemic melodies.

  • Year opened: 1932
  • Capacity: 6015
  • Concession stands
  • Merchandise booths
  • Disabled access
  • In-house bar

A feat of calculated risk and remarkable bravery following the 1929 Wall Street Crash, philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr. managed to build an entire complex of buildings on the property that would attract top commercial clients and help salvage the depressed economy of the area. Part of the Rockafeller Center, Radio City Music Hall opened in 1932 and remains to this day an enduring icon that stands testament to the American Dream in the face of adversity. The Radio Corporation of America was one of those original tenants, leading to the name Radio City staying until this day, and is a worldwide attraction, staging huge music concerts, and of course acting as the home of the illustrious Rockettes.
