The world premiere of ADAM BOCK'S NEW PLAY

Prior to his highly anticipated turn in the upcoming revival of Helly Dolly!, David Hyde Pierce takes the lead in this charming new play by Adam Bock, playing for a limited time from this September. An examination into the search for answers following personal struggles, Bock's new play centers on a newly single man who turns to astrology to make sense of his life, following the end of another failed relationship.

LOOK TO THE STARS

Obie Award-winning playwright Bock has been behind some of the best new sleeper hit plays of recent years including "A Small Fire", "The Receptionist" and "Swimming in the Shallows"; "A Life" will be directed by Anne Kauffman, who has previously helmed works including Detroit and Smokefall. Leading the cast is Tony Award-winning actor David Hyde Pierce, who in addition to his hugely successful acting and directing turns on and off-Broadway and elsewhere, is best-known for his Emmy-winning tenure on Frasier. In A Life, he plays lead Nate Martin, who, fed up after a lifetime of unsuccessful love affairs, turns to astrology in a last-ditch bid to command his own fate. However his charts give him a most unexpected, and shocking answer.
