Yes, it really is that good. A show about young rebels grabbing and shaping the future of an unformed country, "Hamilton" is making its own resonant history by changing the language of musicals.

A happy-creepy reminder that Mr. McDonagh can still work his double-edged, sinister magic on a stage, making breathless, alarmed, and deeply satisfied dupes of us all.

Which classic musicals will be given their second chance to shine?

Why See Hey, Look Me Over!?

Celebrating 25 years of Encores!

Kicking off the 2018 season at The New York City Center in January, this natural progression of Jack Viertel's enduring 25-year musical review Encores celebrates the biggest tunes on Broadway that the original show have yet to perform and put their unique tongue-in-cheek spin on! Credited in part for helping revive the popularity of musicals such as Chicago, Wonderful Town, and Finian's Rainbow, this newest offering will feature tunes from the little-known musicals Mack & Mabel, Greenwillow, Wildcat and many, many more!

A leading light in Broadway revivals

Devised as a taster series for people to enjoy music from often-forgotten or little-known Broadway musicals, the Encores! concert series is notable for having revived shows that have since transferred to Broadway. Notable shows that received their second chances include the 2008 revival Gypsy, which starred Patti LuPone, Boyd Gaines, and Laura Benanti. A Tony recepient for Excellence in Theater, it is also responsible for bringing Kander and Ebb's Chicago back to the public sphere; after transferring to Broadway in 1996, it is now the second-longest running show there, surpassed only by The Phantom Of The Opera! What musical may find a new set of wings in this newest Encores show? There's only one way to find out!
