Gone Missing

In this special engagement the works of the late Michael Friedman, the Artistic Director of Off-Center, will be honoured. Back in 2003 the New York theatre troupe, The Civilians, carried out a series of interviews with various real-life members of the public on the real-life objects they had lost. What are the implications of losing the things that matter most of us and those that don't?

What was born out of these interviews was a wry and witty docu-musical which features an energetic score by Michael Friedman. Directed by Steven Cosson, Gone Missing presents a poignant and personal account of how we all deal with loss in our lives.
