Such a joyful hoot. With its kinetic dancing, broad mugging and belty anthems, it makes you believe in musical comedy again.

"It has been some four days since I saw the revival of Mr. Lloyd Webber's nigh-legendary musical "Cats," which opened on Sunday at the Neil Simon Theater. And it's been four days of persistent earworms."

The New York Times

Why See Cats?

Last chance to see - ends Dec 30th!

One of Broadway's previously longest running and most popular musicals makes a special return to New York at the Neil Simon Theatre. Ideal for the whole family, Cats is based on poet TS Eliot's 1939 book for older children, Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. With spectacular costumes, dazzling dance moves, and some of the most memorable show tunes in musical theatre ('Memory', 'MaCavity', 'The Song of the Jellicles', just to name a few!), Cats will leave you in awe. And possibly suspicious of any cats you may pass on the way home after...

With direction from Trevor Nunn, choreography from Andy Blankenbuehler after Gillian Lynne and sets and costumes from the iconic John Napier, this Andrew Lloyd Webber-scored show won seven Tony Awards on its first 18-year outing on the Great White Way. Since it closed in 2000, audiences have been wishing for a revival, and now its finally here!

Once a year, a local tribe of street cats, all with their own distinct names and personalities, come together for the legendary "Jellicle Ball". Here they entertain each other, tell stories, and listen to wisdom given by their elderly and respected leader, Old Deuteronomy.

Halfway through, their gathering is interrupted by the tattered and torn Grizabella. Repulsed by her sorry state, the Jellicle Cats shun her and chase her off, despite the pleas of Old Deuteronomy to show compassion. But what happens when their beloved leader is catnapped by the dastardly master-cat of crime, MacAvity (think a feline version of Moriarty!)? Will the Jellicle cats be able to save him? And WHO is the mysterious Mr. Mistoffelees?

What we thought

Purrrr-fect EXCITING cats!

Pazcoguin is the purest kitty in all white and her solo is angelic and on point (pun intended).

Andrew Lloyd Webber's kitty cats are back on Broadway in a show that's become the Las Vegas of Broadway... You just HAVE to do it at least once!
