Metropolitan Opera - Cinderella

December 17, 2021 - January 3, 2022

Jules Massenet's enchanting adaptation of the enduring Cinderella returns to the Met this winter, continuing the new tradition of putting on accessable opera open to all ages during the holidays! This fantastic production comes from the imagination of Laurent Pelly after a hit run during the 2017/18 season. Romantic and glittering, Pelly's creation is a witty and elegant adaptation, with astoundingly pretty sets and costumes full of rococo flourish and fairytale magic. A perfect engagement for the first time opera-goer.
