The Boys from Syracuse

A musical comedy of errors
Why see The Boys from Syracuse?
Sing for your supper
OBIE award winners Musicals Tonight! continue their tradition of reviving rare musical gems with this Shakespearean inspired caper as scored by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. First seen on Broadway in 1938, it includes some Rodgers' classics such as 'Sing For Your Supper','Falling in Love With Love' and 'This Can't Be Love'.
Loosely based on the Bard's Comedy of Errors, the story concerns a smattering of long-lost twins, Antipholus of Syracuse and Antipholus of Ephesus and their similarly fated servants, both named Dromio. When the Syracusans decide to visit Ephesus, a delightful farce begins, full of mistaken identities, confused spouses and joyful song and dance numbers to keep you smiling all the way home.
