Pint-sized Dance Moms starlet Elliana Walmsley is pirouetting out of the TV screen and onto the stage in this extra-special holiday show at the Lion Theatre. Based on the best-selling children's book series Dance Divas, the Off-Broadway production casts a modern-day spin on the classic Nutcracker tale.
The story follow a group of dynamic young dancers, who are drawn to a prestigious ballet academy when a casting call is made for their annual production of the Nutcracker. Budding ballerina Scarlett think she's made for the lead role of Clara, but envy arises when her bubbly little sister Gracie lands the role. The dancers must harness kindness and friendship to overcome obstacles and remind us all of the magic of the holiday spirit.
