Why see 72 Miles To Go?
The struggles of long distance love
72 Miles To Go showcases 10 years of the life of a mother living in a shelter in Mexico, exactly 72 miles away from her husband and child in Arizona. This gripping tale highlights the struggle that love across borders presents and the pain that families have to grapple with when separated from each other.
This fresh new play that tackles painful issues comes from the pen of 2019 Writer's Guild of America Award winner Hilary Bettis, who has received wide recognition for her previous work. 72 Miles To Go was a finalist for the Blackburn Prize earlier this year.
