Moody Blue Meets Cross

Moody Blues icon Justin Hayward and Grammy and Oscar winning soft-rock legend Christopher Cross join up for a co-headline tour this year! The Moody Blues star is still touring relentlessly, almost six decades on from when his band began helping shape the future of popular music. During that time the band has sold 55 million albums and he has received many awards for his work. Christopher Cross meanwhile found fame and success early in his storied career, winning an astonishing five Grammy Awards (including the Grammy For Album of The Year, beating out Pink Floyd's The Wall) for his self-titled 1979 debut album.

Justin Hayward

One his first successes as songwriter in his own right was with the single 'Fly Me High', followed up with the classic hit songs 'Nights in White Satin' and 'Tuesday Afternoon' from the seminal album 'Days of Future Past', which soon went on to become a staple of various NASA astronauts on the space shuttle. In 2005 he received The Golden Note award from ASCAP, the top musical honor for a British songwriter, and in 2013 The Performing Rights Society in the UK awarded him his second Ivor Novello statue for Outstanding Achievement. All of secondary importance to a consummate performer who describes performing live as a "drug".

Christopher Cross

In his five-time multi-platinum, career-defining self-titled album, Christopher Cross became a megastar with his ubiquitous smash hit single Sailing. Cross also collaborated with the legendary Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager on the Oscar-winning 'Arthur's Theme (The Best That You Can Do)' from the 1981 film Arthur starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli.
