The Surprise Smash Hit Extends Its Run

Due to popular demand, smash-hit musical comedy Emojiland is extending its Off-Broadway run! The sweet and silly musical confection has received much critical acclaim for its upbeat subject matter and all-round joyful nature during its run at 42nd Street venue The Duke, and will now be running through to March 19th. Directed by Tom Caruso with book and music by Laura Schein and Keith Harrison, this musical comedy caper is may just be the perfect technicolor antidote to those January blues.

Schein also stars as Smize (the smiling face with smiling eyes emoji), one half of the 'cool' couple with Sunny (smiling face with sunglasses). Together since version 1.0, they live together in Emojiland alongside its ebullient and sparkly ruler Princess, the leather-clad rocker Skull and a dimwitted Prince. When software update 5.0 introduces new emojis, new arrival Nerd Face upsets the status quo and sets Smize's heart a fluttering. Whilst new romance blossoms, a deadly virus threatens all who inhabit the digital kingdom...
