The World's Biggest Ballet Competition

Youth America Grand Prix is a name synonymous with the brightest budding young talent in ballet today. The largest dance education organisation in the world, YAGP supports and develops the dancers of tomorrow through a multitude of outreach activities, classes and scholarship auditions, the last of which culminates in this prestigious annual competition. Winners are awarded scholarships from a $300 000 prize fund.

A host of America's finest dancers from the ages of 9 - 19 will descend upon New York City's David H Koch theatre for two nights of competitive ballet, aiming for a gold, silver or bronze placing. Finals week draws over 1000 dancers, who are provided opportunities for mentoring as well as performance, and a chance to meet past winners at the Stars Of Today Meet The Stars Of Tomorrow gala, taking place on the last evening.

Notable YAGP alumni include American Ballet Theatre's Isabella Boylston, Jeffery Cirio and Sarah Lane, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater's Jenna Graves and the Washington Ballet's Kara Cooper and Brooklyn Mack.
