New York City Ballet - All Tchaikovsky

Why see New York City Ballet - All Tchaikovsky?

All Tchaikovsky

The All Tchaikovsky program is a wonderful chance to enjoy the wit, beauty, and enchantment of the maestro, channeled through the intoxicating brilliance of the Ballet makers he has inspired. Bookended by two Balanchine works, Jerome Robbins' Andantino sits at the heart of the program. A sweet and unforced pas de deux, its shimmering sensibility offsets Balanchine's late Mozartina and his career-defining, opulent celebration of Russia's Imperial beauty, Diamonds.
